Azulis Aramis By Rental 12: Designing A Mediterranean Villa For Modern Luxury

In high-end vacation rentals, design is no longer just a value-add; it’s part of the destination itself. Today’s guests choose properties not only for location but also for atmosphere, comfort and the promise of a refined experience that feels effortless and authentic. For interior design professionals, this means creating spaces that photograph beautifully, perform flawlessly and age gracefully under frequent use.

The Azulis Aramis villa, managed by Rental 12, is a strong example of how these demands can be met through thoughtful design and carefully selected furniture. Located in Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, this three-bedroom boutique villa is part of the Villas Dumas collection, developed in partnership with Lion Development. With 226 m² of interior space, a private pool, a panoramic rooftop terrace and full in-house service, Aramis blends Mediterranean soul with contemporary clarity.

Domkapa pieces – including the Mano Table Set, Louise Dining Chair, Kelsi Bed and Echo Bed – play a central role in shaping the villa’s identity. Rather than standing out as decorative objects, they support Rental 12’s philosophy: refined, functional interiors that feel calm, welcoming and quietly luxurious.

Aramis draws from Mediterranean design principles – light, natural textures, indoor–outdoor flow – while stripping away excess ornamentation. The result is a villa that feels timeless rather than trend-driven, ideal for a Rental 12 property intended to remain relevant season after season.

Large openings connect the interior living spaces with the outdoor terraces and pool area, allowing greenery and daylight to become part of the interior composition. Inside, the palette remains intentionally soft: warm neutrals, wood finishes and tactile upholstery establish a sense of serenity that aligns with the coastal setting.

Living and dining: designed for shared moments

The main living area is conceived as a social hub, where guests can gather without feeling constrained by rigid zoning. The Mano Coffee Table anchors the lounge area, its rounded form softening the geometry of the space while offering generous surface area for books, drinks or curated welcome elements.

Adjacent to the living space, the dining area is furnished with the Louise Dining Chair, chosen for its balance between elegance and comfort. Upholstered and visually light, Louise supports long, relaxed meals – an essential consideration in a villa designed for up to eight guests. Its refined silhouette complements the Mediterranean-inspired calm without introducing visual noise.

Material continuity between the living and dining areas reinforces the sense of cohesion. Wood tones echo across furniture and architectural elements, ensuring the space reads as a unified whole rather than a collection of separate rooms.

Bedrooms as personal retreats

Each bedroom in Azulis Aramis is treated as an individual retreat, designed to encourage rest while maintaining a consistent design language throughout the villa.

The Kelsi Bed stands out through its wingback, upholstered headboard, which brings a sense of softness and protection to the room. Its two large padded cushions enhance comfort while visually grounding the space – an important quality in rental properties, where the bed often defines the guest’s first and last impression.

In other rooms, the Echo Bed introduces a lighter interpretation of comfort. With cleaner lines and a more minimal expression, Echo aligns perfectly with the villa’s contemporary side, offering versatility without sacrificing warmth.

Supporting pieces, such as the Mano Side Table, are used to maintain flexibility. Compact and easy to reposition, they adapt to different guest needs while reinforcing the overall design language.

Because Azulis Aramis operates with full in-house service by Rental 12, operational efficiency was a key consideration. Furniture placement, circulation and finishes were selected to support easy maintenance and daily use without compromising aesthetics.

Upholstered elements are chosen for durability, surfaces are easy to clean and layouts allow staff to move comfortably through the villa. This behind-the-scenes logic is what allows the guest-facing experience to feel effortless.

Azulis Aramis shows how a well-executed furniture strategy can elevate a rental property into a boutique hospitality experience. By aligning Mediterranean sensibility with contemporary discipline, Rental 12 delivers a villa that feels serene, functional and unmistakably refined.

For interior design professionals, the takeaway is clear: when furniture is chosen as part of a cohesive system – not as isolated statements – it supports guest comfort, operational efficiency and brand identity simultaneously.
