Every design project has its own story – a unique fusion of creativity, space and purpose. Sometimes, all it takes is a single piece to elevate a room and bring a designer’s vision to life. At Domkapa, we’re proud to be a part of projects around the world, whether it’s a statement bed in a serene bedroom or a sculptural armchair that punctuates a contemporary lounge.
In this special edition of our design stories, we’re highlighting a few distinctive projects that, while modest in number of pieces or imagery, beautifully illustrate the potential of thoughtful design.
SkyPark Towers by Tolicci Interiors
In this SkyPark Towers bedroom by Tolicci Interiors, refinement takes centre stage. Natural light bathes the space, enhancing every luxurious detail – from the dramatic marble-veined wall to the sculptural lighting overhead. At the heart of the room lies our Kelsi Bed, a piece that effortlessly anchors the atmosphere of elegance.
With its striking wingback headboard and padded double cushions, Kelsi offers not just visual appeal but unparalleled comfort. The metallic tubes supporting the headboard echo the room’s golden accents, drawing a subtle line between modern glamour and timeless craft. Its neutral tones harmonise with the surrounding palette, allowing textures and forms to speak louder than colour.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail and available in various sizes and finishes, our Kelsi Bed fits perfectly in this design story – a true reflection of Tolicci’s elevated design language.
Zhk Zilart by Viktor Tarakanov
In this eclectic and colourful apartment within Zhk Zilart complex, designer Viktor Tarakanov redefines urban living with a spirited mix of textures, tones and forms. At the far end of the room, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows that reveal a sweeping cityscape, two Megan Armchairs offer a moment of calm amidst the vibrant energy of the space.
Our Megan Armchair’s deep, sculptural silhouette stands in elegant contrast to the room’s saturated colours and playful decor. With its flowing backrest and subtly curved arms, Megan delivers a quiet elegance that grounds the scene. The dark upholstery enriches the palette and provides a visual anchor, while the armchair’s ergonomic lines invite comfort without compromising on style.
Perfectly placed to enjoy the view and the company, Megan proves once again how timeless design can coexist beautifully within bold, expressive design stories.
QB/0290 by LEQB Architects
In the third project of our design stories, the QB/0290 project by LEQB Architects, restraint becomes the ultimate form of sophistication. A soft, tonal palette envelops the space in warmth and light, allowing the beauty of clean lines and refined materials to speak for themselves. Amidst this perfectly curated balance stand two Legacy Armchairs – understated yet undeniably sculptural.
With no armrests and a seamless back that flows into its base, Legacy’s silhouette brings architectural clarity to the space. A subtle stitched line runs vertically along the backrest, offering just the right amount of visual detail without disrupting the harmony. Fully upholstered and crafted with precision, the chairs embody quiet luxury, perfectly complementing the surrounding materials and textures.
Dining Space by Lucia Hidalgo Interiorismo
In this serene and sophisticated dining space, Lucia Hidalgo Interiorismo explores the power of subtlety. Set in a palette of warm neutrals, the room is a study in balance, where light, texture and form come together to create an atmosphere of effortless calm. At the centre of it all is a standout piece from Domkapa: the Norah Dining Chair.
Our Norah Dining Chair, with its timeless silhouette and delicate vertical folds on the backrest, adds a soft layer of refinement to the dining table. Its solid wood frame grounds the piece with stability, while the possibility of mixing materials – like velvet and leather – invites tactile contrast that suits the project’s quiet luxury.
Nearby, our Louise Bar & Counter Chair continues the narrative of comfort and sophistication. With bold, fully upholstered curves and signature golden nail detailing, it introduces a subtle edge to the space. The gently curved backrest and sturdy wooden legs bring character and support to this refined corner.
Haute Habitat by House Of Sutej Thethi
In the last project of our design stories, the Haute Habitat living room by House Of Sutej Thethi, design meets drama in a beautifully curated composition of form, texture and contrast. This space feels more like an art installation than a conventional living area – a deliberate canvas where each element is thoughtfully placed to provoke emotion and inspire connection.
The Shinto Modular Sofa commands attention with its bold structure and architectural presence. Configured with fluidity and purpose, Shinto adapts effortlessly to the room’s rhythm. Its texturised black steel bars and gold accents glide from the backrest to the base, adding a sense of movement and refinement. The tailored piping detail reinforces its sculptural identity while ensuring deep, inviting comfort.
Balancing Shinto’s strong geometry are the Panton and Mano Table Sets – a duo of elegant, circular forms that soften the room’s dynamic energy. The Panton Tables, with their round glass top and conical wood base, offer a sense of visual lightness and contemporary warmth. Subtle stainless steel accents elevate its presence, making it equally functional and refined.
The Mano Tables, on the other hand, introduce a touch of artisanal luxury. Fully upholstered in natural leather, its four-panelled base supports a wooden top, showcasing intricate craftsmanship and tactile richness.
