ABOUT THE AL MOUJ MARINA APARTMENT PROJECT
From the moment you step into the Al Mouj Marina Apartment, the atmosphere of tranquillity is palpable. Kate Kerdi’s design philosophy centres around the concept of “understated luxury”, where the true essence of luxury lies in simplicity and attention to detail. This approach is evident in every aspect of the apartment’s interiors, from the soft, neutral colour palette to the carefully chosen furnishings that exude quiet sophistication.
LIVING ROOM
The open-plan living and dining areas are designed to maximize space and light, with large windows that invite natural light to flood the rooms. The soft, muted tones of beige, cream, and taupe create a calming backdrop, while the subtle contrast of rich wood accents adds warmth and depth. The furniture – with our Edward Sofa and Megan Armchair – is functional and stylish, designed to provide comfort without compromising on aesthetics.
DINING ROOM
One of the standout features of the dining area is the round dining table, which anchors the space and encourages conversation.
To provide a comfortable seating experience, Kate selected our Eva Chair. Eva is the perfect mix of contemporary design and antique production techniques, engraved on the back and sides of the piece. It is a versatile chair that can stand out in every room with its soft lines and unique but simple design that gives a special character to every room.
KITCHEN
The stunning kitchen counter of the Al Mouj Marina Apartment is adorned by our Louise Bar & Counter Chair. Its robust design exhales confidence and character allied with simple lines and a strong statement of comfort. The back and seat are fully upholstered for a relaxing experience while the wooden legs finish the exquisiteness of the design. The slightly curvy back will ensure a cosy experience with a daring design including golden nails.
BEDROOM I
One of the bedrooms in the Al Mouj Marina Apartment exemplifies the art of understated luxury. The space is calm, with a soft, neutral colour palette that promotes relaxation and tranquillity. Our Yumi bed, dressed in luxurious linens, serves as the focal point, inviting restful sleep. Yumi is a minimalistic yet elegant design, with classic shape and proportions, embellished by horizontal piping lines stitched across the padded headboard. Elevated by four wooden legs, it is inspired by a concept of elegance, comfort and balanced lines.
The overall effect is a harmonious blend of comfort and style, making this bedroom a perfect retreat.
BEDROOM II
The other bedroom’s distinctive piece is our Echo Bed. It is the ideal bed design if you are looking for comfort allied with stunning features and details. Sophisticated and expansive, Echo’s headboard is full of enveloping lines enhanced by incredible aesthetics and fine-tailoring. It also features a distinctive wrap-around headboard, with elegant wings for moments of intimacy and shelter. Another detail you can find is the delicate piping that embellished the upholstery.
Echo bed can be found in different dimensions and materials promising unique feelings.
